At Vet Heroes , we are two dedicated veterinarians who, in addition to our steady jobs, dedicate our free time to providing expert veterinary care for your beloved pets. Our love for animals and the desire to help them led us to the creation of this initiative.
IGNATIOU SOFIA DVM,GpCert (US)
Sofia Ignatiou is a graduate of the State Veterinary Academy of Vitebsk, Belarus. During her studies, she gained valuable practical experience by volunteering her services at the Vitebsk Small Animal Hospital. After graduation, she was honored by the faculty for her contribution to her research activity.
Sophia worked for four years at the Attica Animal Hospital, where she further developed her clinical skills and specialized in companion animal ultrasound, completing the ISVPS postgraduate program. At the same time, she participated in numerous conferences and seminars on small animal endocrinology and geriatrics, constantly enriching her knowledge in this field.
Today, he works in a veterinary clinic in Glyfada, where he offers high-level care and diagnosis for companion animals, focusing on the personalized approach and the well-being of our little friends.
BRANDITSAS KONSTANTINOS DVM,MSc
Konstantinos Branditsas is a graduate of the Veterinary School of the University of Thessaly and holds a master's degree from the Agricultural University of Athens.
After completing his studies, he worked in companion animal and production animal clinics, with a special emphasis on canine and feline pathology. He participated in the diagnosis of the first case of dog parasitism with Dioctophyma renale in Greece, which was the subject of a scientific article.
Today, he works at the Ministry of Rural Development, in the department of import/export and intra-EU trade in live animals and products. At the same time, he participates annually in trainings of the European Commission on animal health issues.
